Freya

Meet Freya, an adorable little bunny made from 100% pure sparse pale coffee mohair. She has reversed footpads and inner ears which are complemented by her white fluffy mohair tail. Shiny black safety-locking eyes, black hand-embroidered nose and whiskers bring her face to life. Freya is fully jointed using our own hand-stamped wooden joints and soft filled with recyclable materials. Completed with a green and brown ribbon edged with lilac, Freya makes a delightful gift.

Canterbury Bears was founded in 1979 by the late Modern British painter John Blackburn after he was commissioned to design and create an old fashioned and traditionally jointed teddy bear.

Today, nearly fifty years later, the experienced and dedicated team of craftsmen continue to make heritage teddy bears and animal friends in their workshop in the middle of the English countryside.
